What is crowdfunding?

Story
We are trying to raise £5000 to help MCCOFU which stands for mother child care orphans uganda to purchase some land.
Mccofu is a Christian charity that takes care of some 80 orphans who are orphaned,abandoned and vulnerable children.
The purchase of the land would enable the charity to be more self sufficient in projects like growing thier own food for the children and also have pigs,goats and cows to eradicate food shortage.
