I've raised £1045 to finish funding the purchase of a Quickie Neon 2 wheelchair for a work colleague John Martin to replace his old one.

So far we have raised £2455, so we are looking to raise the final money to purchase the new wheelchair.
John is an important part of our Team at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, as well as, Coalville Library and we're trying to raise the necessary funds to help our colleague get a new wheelchair, which will not only allow him to get in and out of his car easier but will also make him more comfortable when at work.
John suffers from cerebral palsy a condition that affects muscle control and movement. It's usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during or after birth. Children with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy may have difficulties in controlling muscles and movements as they grow and develop.
He has used a wheelchair all his life and had 21 operations up to the age of 16.
He holds a Gold Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award and an NVQ 4 in Business Administration and has worked Leicestershire County Council for 28 years.
In his spare time he advises on disabled access.
This is the little beauty we're fund raising for
