Press Release.
As followers of the 2 Strokes Racing team, you may be aware that team rider, young Joel Haire Racing was involved in an incident on Sunday. We are thrilled to say, that apart from a healthy collection of bruises, he is OK. We would ask though, for supporters / Joel's followers to resist from making comments on social media, and also from contacting the family / team to ask what happened. Well wishes, and messages of positive support towards Joel's recovery are welcome and encouraged. He is still, just a 13 year old with a cheeky smile, with a will and determination to win at the highest level.
On a side note, we have an extremely battered 2024 Yamaha R3 that needs to be rebuilt. We also have a destroyed set of leathers, boots, gloves and helmet. Should anyone wish to assist with supplying parts, or make any form of contribution, that would be extremely welcome.
Look forward to seeing Joel back in action, soon!
Ends.
Joel is a 13 year old boy who is a X3 times Irish minibike champion and now competing in the USBK and leading the Moto 1 championship. At the weekend he was involved in a bad crash and as im sure you can imagine he has a badly battered bike and protective gear, that thankfully, done its job and saved him from more severe injuries, however they all need to be replaced or repaired.
I'm raising funds to help towards the cost of replacing and repairing the gear to get him back racing ASAP.
Any donation no matter the amount will be greatly appreciated and any funds not needed or used will be donated to a charity of Joels choice. Thanks in advance to anyone who donates or sends well wishes to Joel, from a very traumatised Auntie.
