The Mark Jon Bolderson Percussion Foundation has been set up in memory of my brother who sadly passed away this year at just 45 years old. He was a very talented percussionist and composer who studied at Birmingham Conservatoire and served as a musician in the Royal Artillery. He taught percussion at Durham University and supported many local theatre companies with scores for their productions or playing in the pit bands/orchestras. In his memory we wish to support young percussionists in the North East of England through arranging workshops, performance and tuition opportunities, and scholarships.
