I've raised £1000 to Help fund ongoing research in improving future treatments of the devastating lung condition known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Our amazing father, and devoted husband to our mother, passed away on the 18th October 2022. He had idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for many years. This is a condition that results causing scarring and stiffness of the lungs. It is a progressive condition that has no cure, however there are now treatments available that try and slow the progression of the disease.
This disease did not only affect our father, but also three of his brothers and his sister. We are therefore want to support ongoing reasearch and develpment of treatment into this condition.
Dad received amazing support and care from his respiratory team at Llandough Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan. This team has ongoing research projects into this condition and we would like to support this in his memory. All donations will be passed onto the Lung Research Fund number 9504 to aid this.
Dad was an inspiration to us throughout our lives. He battled this disease with quiet dignity and little fuss. Please help us support this worth cause and help us improve knowledge and treatment of this devastating illness.
