I've raised £10000 to help build Marks Gate Community Masjid for the growing number of worshippers in the community.

The current Muslim community is making use of a local community centre as a prayer hall to cater for Friday prayers, Tarawih salah during Ramadan, and some Islamic classes for young children. With a growing Muslim community it is now becoming essential to build a masjid for the local residents.
It has been 4 years since the use of the Community centre started as a prayer hall and it is now proving difficult to cater to the growing number of worshippers as well as prohibiting muslims to be able to pray in jamat regularly. On some occasions the community centre has not been available on Friday leaving the locals no choice but to pray in their homes.
Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
