Mark was a big character who adored Aston Villa FC, he would engage in conversations with all football fans and enjoyed the banter no end. He loved cricket too & spent many a summer volunteering Rugeley Cricket Club. He made many friends through his support & love of sport.

Marks sudden passing has left his family & friends with a big hole that can never be filled. To make this horrific time even more unbarable the family have found there are no provisions to fund the funeral, they are unable to self fund the cost as, like for us all, times are really tough…….. but this is where, as a community, i hoped we would be able to pull together and help, small amounts from lots of us could go a long way towards paying for the funeral.

Mark had ill health, was unable to work due to his health & as we all know benefits do not allow for savings. The task of selling his belongings has resulting in being scammed out of hubdreds of pound’s which would have been put towards the funeral cost…….. im really not sure how much more heartache this family can endure.

My ask is that we try & raise as much as possible to help the family, try and take some of this burden off their shoulders and give Mark the send of he deserves. The most basic of funeral packages is £5000, anything towards this would be greatly appriciated.
