I'm raising £5000 to Support our friend & colleague Mark Tomalin

Story

. . . A post I never thought I’d never have to write.

Prior to Christmas I received some terrible news that Mark Tomalin had suffered a serious stroke.

Mark is not only an employee but a great colleague and more importantly a great friend.

I know many of you in the industry will know Mark and we have already received countless messages of support and well wishes to both him and his family while he continues his rehabilitation.

Mark is continuing to work hard on his physiotherapy in what is a long road ahead but knowing Mark as we do he will give it all his effort and dedication to his recovery.

I have received many offers of support from valued clients new and old and suppliers all of who have worked with us and Mark whilst at Hennigan’s.

Mark previously worked for other Companies Winvic and Buckingham Group and I know was very well thought of in the construction industry so I would like to get this message out to as many people as possible.

We are looking to support Mark and his family in what has been lifechanging for all of them and raise not only some money but also awareness of how serious strokes are and the effect they can have, therefore will be committing to the following;

We are going to try and raise as much money as possible to help the family with the ongoing care and rehabilitation and also a donation to the dedicated staff at Isebrook Hospital in Wellingbourough where Mark is continuing his rehabilitation.

To ensure we raise as much money and awareness as possible Mark’s colleagues at Hennigan’s have decided to take on the gruelling 15k Tough Mudder challenge in July 2025. Please find below details of where and how you can donate. Anything you can do to help will be much appreciated.

Thank you all in advance from

Bobby Houghton, Liam Hennigan, Simon Hennigan and all the Team at Hennigan Building & Civil Engineering Ltd
