Rupert’s story-

Rupert is a beautiful, smiley boy who at 7 months old has already endured more than most people have in a lifetime.

After months of seizures, hospital admissions, and countless tests, Rupert was diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) — an ultra-rare, unpredictable, and potentially life-threatening neurological condition affecting around 1 in a million children. There is currently no cure.

Rupert requires lifelong specialist care, and his future is filled with uncertainty. The only real hope for a cure lies in ongoing research and emerging treatments being developed abroad, particularly in the United States. These treatments are not available on the NHS and come with enormous costs — from research funding and clinical trials to specialist travel and care.

Your donation will help fund vital research, prepare Rupert’s family to act quickly if treatment opportunities arise, and bring hope not just for Rupert, but for other children living with AHC worldwide.

Thank you for all of your support🌈
