In 2020 due to the many changes in social contact, it was not possible for the Marlow British Legion to hold their usual fundraising events. This page was set up to support their collections and thanks to generous donations we have raised £7,805 so far. Now that we are once again approaching Remembrance Day, we would like to continue that support and have extended the collection date of this page to include 2023. Marlow Poppies will be honouring the local Servicemen and Servicewomen who gave their life to protect us, by leaving 300 crocheted poppies along Marlow High Street over the first ten days of November for people to find and wear, each will be dedicated to one of our many casualties. The Marlow Poppy Display Group of local ladies, have made over 5,000 knitted and crocheted poppies which will be displayed on the All Saints Church railings and Higginson Park railings by the Causeway.
