Marple Carnival has been entertaining Marple people since the 1960s and ploughing money into the local community. In the past we have been able to supply money to our schools, scouts, guides and many more local causes.... however, funds are now extremely low - to the extent that there is likely to be only one more carnival before the well runs dry. We are asking anybody that finds joy in our annual carnival to contribute whatever you can - no matter how small to save the event which we all love. The carnival costs £10,000 a year to put on and so we're trying to raise half towards the cost of putting on our annual event in the hope that it can continue for all of our children to enjoy long into the future.
