Under Allsopp BJJ, we are creating an AP programme in line with The Martial Arts Life Skills Project Charity which means not only are we able to help fund at risk students to access martial arts classes, but we finally have the opportunity to open a space and programme for those who are seriously struggling with the mainstream system.

However, no matter how safe we make the gym, we know all too well how quickly emergencies can happen after we were involved in helping save the life of a dear friend back in 2023. Thankfully, the gym where we were had their own AED and without it, we dread to think what may have been the result should Kev not have had the foresight to purchase one. This experience made it clear the importance of this life saving equipment and how we want that reassurance of doing what's best for the families who walk through our doors.

We hope we are never in a situation where it's needed, but we don't ever want to be in a situation where we need it and don't have one either.
