Story
Dave McKay and his allotment gardening partner Les lost the majority of the plot after a horrific arson attack. A massive greenhouse 20 ft cabin and caravan were all lost together with all their equipment. I'd like to help Dave get back on his feet helping to clear the site and rebuild a cabin and provide some equipment.
Allotment communities are full of friendly, kind and thoughtful people. We take pride and joy creating something special and will not be beaten by acts of vandalism and pointless destruction.
Dave helped me a huge amount when I first took on my plot and I want to help all I can now Dave is in need of support.

The top two photos show the scene a couple of weeks ago after the arson attack on Dave's allotment. Such a horrific sight and certainly not one I'll forget in a hurry. The bottom 2 photos show where we are on the project now. A huge amount of work has gone in to clearing the ashes and rubble. We can now start to plan and order materials but this will be a long and difficult journey. Dave is absolutely amazed that people can be so supportive. Thanks again - lets show those that did this that they might break our possessions but never our spirit!

I am absolutely amazed by the fantastic response from people supporting Dave's allotment rebuild. After less than 2 days we have raised £363 😁 - Dave doesn't understand Social Media and tomorrow I'll let him know what is going on. I know this will blow him away. Every £1 raised is a step closer to getting things put back together. Thank you all so much for your support. You have proved to me beyond any doubt that there is so much more good in the world than bad. 👍😀🙏🏻
