I've raised £25000 to Fund surgery and prosthetics due to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

You probably have never heard of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS. It's a poorly understood medical condition where people are left in disabling pain 24 hours a day as a result of the body's signals to the brain misfiring.
I was assaulted whilst on duty as a.police officer in July 2014. Multiple surgeries later I was diagnosed with CRPS and am facing medical retirement due to the condition. In order to try and manage the condition I am on a cocktail of medication including morphine. The trouble is that this only hardly touches the pain and I struggle to function and am registered as disabled with my local council.
The key issue is that there is NO CURE for CRPS. I have reythe point where the only viable option to maybe reduce the pain to a manageable level is to amputate my affected wrist however my doctors will not do this as potentially the limb is still viable.
My only option is to seek a private doctor to amputate the wrist and then use a prosthetic and this is ridiculously expensive hence my fundraising page.
If you can help at all then your help would be instrumental in helping me to get an active life back again.
