WHAT IS HAPPENING

Wendy Twydell (Martin’s Sister), Jessica Twydell and Emma Tella (Martin’s Nieces) are running the Essex Colour 5k race in June to raise money for the National Prion Clinic at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery to further care and research for people diagnosed with CJD.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Our Son, Brother and Uncle Martin has sadly been diagnosed with CJD which is a rare, degenerative and fatal brain disorder. It affects about one person in every one million people per year worldwide. There is currently no cure for CJD and research and knowledge around the disease is limited. Any money raised will go towards advancing the understanding, care and treatment of people with this condition.

COLOUR 5K - 30 JUNE 2018

Colour 5k is one of the craziest fun runs around. The aim is to run the 5k distance but speed is not the priority - colour is!
