Hi myself and Luke’s dad Richard Abraham’s will be taking on the challenge of walking from sixfield’s stadium to West Ham’s Olympic stadium 68.7 miles in total over 3 days 5th - 7th may

Those who knew Luke would tell you that football was his life and we thought no better way to raise money and awareness for these 2 wonderful charities which are very close to our hearts (atheists) and (theleesparknffoundation) than to walk from Luke’s hometown of Northampton to his beloved West Ham’s stadium

Sadly Luke passed away at a very early age of 20 years old which could have been prevented on more than 1 occasion, we are pushing to prevent anyone else from going through the same situation and to continue to grow Luke’s legacy

A small bit about necrotising fasciitis

The term necrotising fasciitis comes from the words ‘necrosis’ which means death of a portion of tissue and ‘fascia’ the name given to the sheets or bands of fibrous tissue which close and connect the muscles. No is a severe infection involving the soft tissue below the skin, particularly the fascia. It can affect any part of the body but it is most common in the legs.

Sepsis is a life threatening condition that occurs when the body’s immune system overreacts to an infection. It can lead to organ failure, shock, and death.

Anything that anyone can donate will go a long way to helping these charities in raising awareness etc. All funds raised will be split equally between both charities
