The football club is looking to purchase pitch maintenance plant and equipment in order to improve the playing surfaces on offer to the children involved, due to the location of the club no lottery funding is available.

In an attempt to raise funds on behalf of the under 9s team I intend to undertake a Coast to Coast bike ride in a day (well 12 hours ish hopefully to be exact). The intended route is known as the 'Way of the Roses' (National Cycle Network route 69) which runs from Morecambe on the North West coast to Bridlington on the North East coast a distance of around 175 miles. I will be doing the ride on Friday 22nd September starting at 07:00 and hopefully finishing by 19:00 before its dark :). To give you an idea of the challenge, I started riding a bike regularly for fitness during April 2015 and to date the farthest ride I have completed in one day is 102 mile.
