Story
I am going to Nepal in July 2017 for two weeks to carry out a humanitarian aid project. This will involve visiting a primary school in Kathmandu for a week, and working with the children to help improve their school building as well as teaching them about Western culture, learning about Nepalese culture while I work. In the second week of the expedition, I will travel to Pokhara to embark on a week-long trek in the Himalayas mountains. As part of an 11-strong team, we all have a personal fund of £2650 to be raised in order to cover the expedition costs. I hope to complete a skydive in order to raise funds to take part in the expedition with my team, amongst the other fundraising events I have been involved with (such as agricultural shows, bake sales and bag-packs). I simply cannot wait to get to Nepal, so it is my fond hope that I receive enough donations for my skydive to be able to pay off what remains of my personal target.
