I've raised £5000 to Buy An ECG Heart Rate Monitor for Avon 3 Ward at Worcester Royal Infirmary In Memory Of George Chaplin.

My name is Martin Ward and many people know me as the MD at Four Oaks Financial Services.
In June 2019 my father-in-law George Chaplin passed away. He had been in hospital for six weeks, and on the day he died he needed an ECG Heart Rate Monitor. There were only three of these machines in the entire hospital and it took some time for the staff to find one and get it to him. He died of heart failure.
As a family we don't want this to happen to any other patients who are receiving care on the Avon 3 Ward at Worcester Royal Infirmary. This was the ward that George was on and we can't praise the staff highly enough for the care they gave him. We don't want the nurses on this ward to go through the distress of searching all over the hospital for an ECG Heart Rate Monitor. They should have an ECG machine on their ward, and this is what we are raising money for.
Four Oaks Financial Services is sponsoring the Lichfield Half Marathon on 17th October 2021. Our family is going to run to raise the money we need to buy an ECG Heart Rate Monitor for the Avon 3 Ward. This is a real challenge for us as none of us has ever done anything like this before, we are just normal people who spend most of our time working at a desk! However, we are determined to do this in memory of George.
We need £5,000 and ask you for your help and support.
