In terms of tennis Martin Dene Tennis Club punches well above its small 3 court size. In the past the Club has fielded teams that won in the top Kent leagues and produced some amazing players that reached the very top levels in the UK and even played internationally.

Its also fair to say that over the past 15 years adult membership dramatically reduced and with it our ability to maintain our facilities to the highest standard.

Following COVID the club pivoted and in addition to adult tennis increased its focus on junior tennis and now boasts a huge junior programme, and is one of the few tennis clubs that gives equal status to adults and juniors. This has resulted in a huge increase in usage and wear & tear without a corressponding increase in funds to maintain the Clubhouse and Courts to the high standards we desire.

With, probably, the lowest membership fees in the area we believe we offer access to much needed sporting activity at an afforable price to both adults and juniors in Bexley/Bexleyheath/Welling/Dartford and surrounding areas.

We now look to raise funds to support this community sports club, give it a much needed spruce up and prepare for the courts to be replaced.
