    Story

I’m Martin, I love all things mechanical and have always been able to de-stress on anything mechanical and in particular, a bike. I am definitely a huge advocate for getting kids to exchange their playstation's for something that gets them out into the open with their parents. No adult or child should not be able to ride their bike because it’s broken or they can’t afford a new one. Plus recycling feels great. That got me thinking.....

We are living in a funny time, a time whereby I can see us saying to our grandchildren, well we lived through the coronavirus lockdown. "Did you know we weren't allowed to leave our houses for twelve weeks... TWELVE WEEKS!". (Ok i'll tone it down now). Well, I thought I'd use this time of isolation to give back in someway, to my friends and family, to the wider community, to the NHS Heroes!

So I started my own “bike" clinic OUT OF MY SHED. This is a place for:

    1. Dropping off your old unused bikes. I'll repair, beautify and gift these to new families.

    2. Maintenance. I'll repair your flat tyr

es, fix your brakes, whatever you need. And you can pick up once it's ready.

**Safety first** All bikes will be steam cleaned and of course, taking all precautions to ensure I abide by the social distancing guidelines. There is a contactless pickup service from outside my house.

Although this is a FREE service, many people have asked me to take donations for charity, so anyone who feels compelled to donate to this page is welcome to do so.

**UPDATE** All proceeds will be donated to our local hospital Princess Alexandra (PAH) to support the NHS during the COVID crisis.

    Stay safe and healthy people!

We've had a crazy influx of bikes, awaiting to be fixed up by myself but I wanted to take a minute to say a "massive thank you for all your generous donations". Keep'em coming.
