    Story

    Hi Everyone

I feel passionate about everyone's health in our school including our children and all our amazing staff and visitors to our School.

Recently I carried out my recertification of 'First Aid at Work' and learnt facts and figures about AED (Automated external Defibrillator) and how life saving they are.

If a child or adult suffers a cardiac arrest then the likelihood of reviving them using CPR alone is approximately 10% or lower but with a AED it rockets up to 80%!!!!

Our closest AED is near the coop garage which is too far as to be used effectively it must be used within a few minutes.

I have researched the cost of these and for around £1000 you can purchase one with the appropriate supplies.

To try and raise funds for this life saving piece of equipment for our school, I will be attempting to swim Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier which is 1.4 miles (2.2 km). I've completed 1 km in the sea but never this far. The training starts now!!!

I will be carrying this out in mid to late September.

If you could sponsor me that would be fantastic!!

There are multiple ways of sponsoring using this page or coming into the office and using the sponsorship form.

    Many thanks
