Story
Old school friends Helen and Mary, are walking Lands End to John O’Groats starting on 7/4/23. We are hoping to walk the 1100 miles in about 60 days, supported by wonderful friends and family. I am raising money for Dementia Friendly Dementia Cafe, a superb community organisation. This is not a registered charity as it falls under the umbrella of Dunblane Development Trust. However I can confirm all the money will go to them. Proof can be supplied

1 year agoAmazingly we’re in our last week of walking to complete our journey. Nearly 1000 miles walked. 3 countries and many more cups of tea- and glasses of cider. Thanks for all your amazing support for such a good cause. Keeps us plodding on.

1 year ago3 days down and going well. We’ve been lucky to have good weather but looks like we’re in for some wet and windy weather in next few days. The Cornwall paths and lanes and lovely - and very quiet over Easter when everyone seems to be at the coast. We’ll keep plodding on. 59 miles done😊
