Story
I have updated this fundraiser and increased the total for a 6 month old tortie kitten, left behind in a garden when her owners moved she was then hit by a car and has suffered a serious injury, her pelvis is smashed into many pieces, both of her hips are broken and her pelvis is seperated from her spine, she has spent a week in the emergency vets on strong pain relief, until we were called to help her. She is being admitted to our vets for major surgery with an orthopeadic surgeon tomorrow (28/11/18).
She will need major surgery followed by 8 weeks of cage rest, she will then go back for x rays and be spayed at the same time. She has a long battle ahead of her but is able to hobble about and toilet independantly so we have to help her.
There are many cats and kittens currently living on the streets, here at Cat Welfare Luton we are trying to help as many as we can. Each adult cat costs on average a minimum of £145 to neuter, chip, vaccinate, flea, worm amd blood test. This doesn’t include any extra veterinary treatment that may be required or food/litter whilst in with us.
If anyone can help by making a donation no matter how small, or by just sharing our appeal we would be very grateful, we would love to get as many cats in, warm and safe before winter really kicks in.
Thank you so much x
