I'm a 21-year-old Ukrainian girl. In June 23, 2015, I got burned as a result of fire. I had been in burn center during almost 5 months, 35% of my body had been burned (22% of my burns were full-thickness burns). I went through 15 surgeries of skin grafting, lost both ears, and now I have to deal with scars, that’s why I need a plastic surgery of hands (after scarring of skin grafts I’ve got a syndactyly (webbing of the fingers)) . As a result of it, I can’t move fingers in such a way I need for living a productive life. Also, the scars are growing on my arms and I wish them to be treated someday.
I'm an active person and I want to live such a life I had before the injury.
I visited a medical center of plastic and reconstructive surgery named Valikhnovski MD in Kiev, Ukraine, and the therapist assured me that all can be done. He offered me a reconstructive surgery (silicone prosthetic ears), which costs about €12000. I decided to try to collect money with the help of different crowdfunding platforms.
