The reason for doing this Event is because Nurses are not valued for the work they do. They are subjected to all sorts of harrassment. They have been made to work long hours with no choice irrespective of their own health. Nowadays to give a high standard and personal care to patients is few and far between. With the shortage of nurses, the stress builds up and it just sheer dedication nurses come to work under the circumstances.
