Well ladies, gentlemen, fellow bikers, scooter riders, brothers and sisters, Christmas is fast approaching and the time when we would be doing the Xmas toy run for the Mary Rose school. This year has certainly been an unusual year where we couldn’t do the Easter egg ride and now we will not be doing the Xmas toy run.

So we have set up a giving page to collect money for the school like we normally would on the ride, so please all give generously as we also missed Easter, we can pass the money on to the school from you all being the South Coast Bikers.

Also we are planning to do a Xmas present dump for want of a better expression where we will park up in Wickham square with a van then anyone who would like to give a present can do so and we will deliver them on your behalf to the school so they can still all have a great Xmas. Initial plan is to have van in Wickham square for 2 hrs from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs on Saturday 5th December for anyone wanting to drop of their Xmas presents for the children and we will deliver the presents on Saturday 12th December allowing a week for any risk of COVID to dissipate as the children are very vulnerable. We may do a small bike escort to the school with the van but nothing of any size. This year it will be about getting the presents to the school.
