In memory of Marysia's sister Monica Placzek — who dedicated her life to helping children as a paediatrician and later co-founded a charity supporting an orphanage in Nepal— we are taking on a special challenge.

Every day now through to end July, we are climbing Win Hill (yes, every day!) — a total of 37 times each, the equivalent of Everest in height — to raise funds for ADM Nepal, the charity Monica founded with her two remarkable friends Anne Allen and Dorothy Coupe.

ADM continues to support the education and futures of children Monica loved so deeply. A few still remain in the orphanage and we want to help them take their next steps in life.

Oscar (our loyal dog!) will be joining us too 🐾 (pity Oscar: he will climb Everest twice, once with M in the morning and once with A in the afternoon!!)
