Weʼve raised £420 to help my friend, a single mum of three, to buy a crib and stroller for her premature born daughter, who will need extra time and care now.

Story
Marzia, a single mother of three, living in south London, gave birth to a lovely girl this summer. Noor got into this world three months earlier than expected and sadly there are some associated health issues. The girl is still in hospital as she is connected to oxygen and cannot breastfeed, some heart issues are being monitored too. But in three to four weeks she may make it home at last, hopefully.
Marzia won't be able to work for some time and thus would really appreciate your help.
She needs:
1. A bedside crib
2. A stroller with a car seat. (They have no car, but the hospital wouldn't discharge a girl without one and without having trained the mum how to use it.)
Ideally, she'd need a crib and a stroller being new, as there's less risk of infection.

7 years agoSo I've ordered the stroller and the crib for Marzia today. They were both cheapest on Amazon with free delivery, so bought from there, as Marzia has no car. So the total fundraised was £410.00. After Justgiving and Payapal/Visa fees it is £383.55. The crib and the stroller are £344.90, which leaves the balance of £38.65. I'll keep you updated on what is bought for this. So far Marzia thinks about nappies. THANK YOU!!!

7 years agoThank you all SO MUCH for your support!! In less than a day the money has been collected - it's a miracle, and you made it happen! THANK YOU! Marzia is going to double check that the stroller and crib she's found online are definitely fit for purpose by going to Toys R Us (she feels tired as she spends days in he hospital now, but promised to go to store in the next few days), then I'll help her to buy them on Amazon, as they are cheaper there and offer free delivery. I'll then post the receipts and photos. Miracles happen thanks to you!!
