    Story

Mashal Khan, the student who was lynched on blasphemy allegations by a mob of fellow university students, described himself as a Humanist.

On the 13th of April, Mashal Khan, a student of AWKU University in Mardan was dragged out of his dorm and beaten to death by fellow students as people watched. The horrific attack was also filmed by onlookers and uploaded to various online platforms. Mashal, a bright young man had been accused of blasphemy. Due to these unproven allegations a mob of students at the university decided to become Judge Jury and Executor and attacked Mashal and a friend of his. The other victim (unnamed at this point) is also said to be seriously injured.

We have decided to open this justgiving page to raise funds to help Mashal's family with the financial burden that they will be facing now as Mashal was supposed to be the bread winner for his elderly parents.

We are asking you to generously donate any amount you can, to help his family in this time of unimaginable grief that they are going through.

    Thank you.
