TEAM MUDSHAKE II – MASTERS OF FILTH
In 2017, an unlikely group of people came together to form TEAM MUDSHAKE and take on the infamous Tough Mudder – a 10 mile course with 20+ obstacles. In 2019, we make a return for ROUND 2!!
We will be captained once more by the incredibly inspirational Andy ‘Buddy’ Holley, who suffered life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle accident in 2013 and as a result is now paraplegic and a wheelchair user.
Our team will be raising money for Hereford Harriers Wheelchair Rugby Club, a self-funded wheelchair rugby club, who have progressed from Development League to Premiership Super League in just 3 years since starting.
The club currently has 12 playing members, along with a number of volunteers and provides members with all disabilities, both mental and physical, a chance to be part of a friendly team and gives them something to really focus on.
As the club is self-funded, they are always working hard to raise funds to cover their costs. All monies raised will go directly to Hereford Harriers Wheelchair Rugby Club and will help with the following:
• Hire of their training ground at Hereford Leisure Centre
• Travel expenses to away games and tournaments
• Supplying and maintaining specially adapted sports wheelchairs and other equipment
We will greatly appreciate any amount of money you can spare for our fundraising cause.
