Reanimating History: The "Dracula’s Death" (1921) Reconstruction & Original Animation Project
Our Mission: Bringing Lost Cinematic History Back from the Dead
In 1921, a legendary piece of cinematic history was born and subsequently lost to time: Dracula’s Death (Drakula Halála), widely considered the first-ever screen appearance of a vampire. Today, the original film is completely lost; all that remains of this masterpiece are a rare novelization and a handful of still images.
Our mission is to resurrect this lost film from the dead using cutting-edge AI animation and modern music scoring. We are reconstructing this iconic story as closely as possible to the original vision, but with a historic twist. Unlike the 1921 silent film, our version will feature a complete modern soundscape, giving audiences an immersive experience that has never been possible before.
But that is only half of the journey. Funding from this campaign will also bring to life a second, adult-targeted (15+) vampire animated movie based on an original novel written by indie author and creator, Mat Eacott.
Driven by Passion: Representation in Animation
This project is fueled by a deep personal purpose. As a creator living with both visual and mobility disabilities, I am designing these animations to place characters with disabilities squarely in the limelight.
Too often, disabled voices are left out of the creative narrative. This campaign aims to break those barriers and prove a vital point: it doesn’t matter who you are or what challenges you face, if you chase a dream long enough, you can catch it. Through this work, we want to inspire creators worldwide to never give up on their artistic passions, no matter the struggles they face in life.

Where Your Funding Goes
To fully produce, score, and animate both feature-length projects, we are raising a total of £25,000. Every penny donated goes directly toward:
I. AI Animation Software & Technical Rendering: Powering the massive processing requirements needed to build smooth, cinematic visuals.
II. Audio Production & Sound Design: Developing a brand-new, customized musical score, voice acting, and audio engineering to give the 1921 film its first-ever voice.
III. Post-Production & Editing: Polishing the narrative flow of both the historical reconstruction and the original novel adaptation.
