Story

10 local Cornish men (including myself) are doing the Three Peak Challenge in October 2018 to Raise awareness for a local men's mental heath support group called 'Man Down'.

Man down is an informal support group who's aim is to provide comfort and clarity, to people who are experiencing mental health problems.
The support group is an informal way of providing individuals with the necessary support and guidance, to help point them in the right direction towards their own recovery.
1 in 4 people suffer from depression, anxiety or other mental illnesses in their lifetime - Its time for our society to start talking about mental health.

The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. The peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales.

Here comes the science bit - 26 miles (42km) total horizontal distance, 3,000m (9,843ft) of vertical ascent, 3 peak - all in 24 hours !!!! What are we doing????

We are trying to raise awareness for this great cause because mental health could affect any one of us, or our loved ones, at any time.

Please get behind us and donate what you can?

Many thanks

Matt
