Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

At the beginning of June 2025, our family received devastating news. My sister, Alanna, went to hospital with what we thought were simple stomach pains. Sadly, it turned out to be something far more serious.

Alanna was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Although doctors were able to remove much of the tumour, the cancer had already spread to her liver and lymph glands.

She fought with incredible strength and courage, but the cancer was aggressive and relentless. Tragically, less than 100 days after her diagnosis, Alanna passed away at just 44 years old.

She leaves behind her wonderful husband, three beautiful children, her loving family, and a huge circle of friends who all adored her.

Alanna was the most amazing big sister. Family meant everything to her, and nothing made her happier than all of us being together, sharing laughs and enjoying a glass of wine.

During her illness, I desperately wanted to help but I’m not a doctor, so I decided the best thing I could do was raise money so she could spend time making memories and doing the things she loved most.

Sadly, we lost her far sooner than anyone expected. But I still want to honour her memory by raising money to create a special place where family and friends can sit, reflect, and remember Alanna.

To do this, I’ll be taking on an Ironman triathlon on 14th June.

For anyone who doesn’t know, an Ironman consists of:

• 2.4 mile / 3.8km swim

• 112 mile / 180km bike ride

• 26.2 mile / 42km marathon run

It’s one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world.

But if I can show even half the strength Alanna showed during her battle, then I know I can get through it — especially knowing she’ll be with me every step of the way.
