Pc Matt HACKETT was a firearms officer in South Yorkshire Police. Matt had been a firearms officer since around 2004 and had previously worked around Doncaster prior to this. He tragically died aged 38 suddenly in 2017 from natural causes. Matt had not been ill and his death was totally unexpected.

A group of us from Matt's work are running the Sheffield Half Marathon In April 2018.

Matt's family have expressed a wish that finds raised be donated to SANDS charity as they believe this is what Matt would have wanted.
