We have set up a film company called 'Prissy Productions' with the sole purpose of creating quality film and giving people within the arts opportunities to get involved. We believe people should be paid fairly for their work and not be expected to work for free, but obviously this can be extremely costly.

We have dedicated the past 2 years of our lives to our passion project 'Ashes', an exciting new 15 minute film and we are now preparing to finally begin filming next month (September) after many months of blood, sweat and tears in pre-production.

The film will require a cast and crew of 15 people in total. Other expenses include the hire of camera and sound kit, overnight accommodation for everyone, fuel expenses, food, various insurance and the hire of a lovely 90's car for 3 days filming (as seen in the pic!).

The total cost of this will come to approx £7500.

There are just 2 of us producing this film and it's our first shot at producing something of this size! We're taking on the whole risk ourselves with the aim of creating something fresh and exciting as well as being able to create an opportunity for people to be involved and be treat right while doing so.

We were unfortunately unable to obtain any sort of arts council funding that we applied for and as a result are now asking the public and supporters of the arts to help us out with any kind of funding they can. Every £1 will make a difference and help us tremendously. So please do give whatever you can afford if you feel you'd like to help out.
