As Captain of Lees Hall Golf Club this year, it is my goal to raise as much money as possible for my chosen charity TRN. Please could all my golfing and non golfing friends help me and Sam to achieve this goal.

Trauma Response Network was set up after the Manchester bombing and is a cause very dear to myself and to my family's heart. That night was the longest night of our lives knowing, but at the same time the not knowing, that Emily was there but was she ok. Our family was one of the lucky ones when we found out in the early hours that she was ok. However I don't think any of us were ready for the long term effect that this night would have on our family as a whole. TRN was a big part of us all opening up and speaking more about it to help with the mental scars that we really were not aware of.

My good friend and fellow golf club member, Sam Nuttall, has offered to run a marathon around our golf course (7 laps around all 18 holes) in order to raise money for this charity. He will be completing the marathon on Saturday 9th November, which is the same night that we are hosting the 'Captain's Party Night'! with Lee Lard Live and Disco night at Lees Hall Golf Club.

Any donation is appreciated and Sam is also welcoming anybody who would like to complete a lap or two to run with him!

All money donated through this page will be donated along with physical donations at the end of the year to TRN.
