Story
On the 16 June I will be running the Phnom Penh half marathon to raise money for the primary school I am volunteering at during July in Sri Lanka
The money will be used to help the school buy school supplies which will help to raise the level and standard of learning at the schoo.
Personally, education is very close to my heart having worked as a Primary PE Teacher in the uk for over 10 years. This experience has shown me the importance of funding in schools and the importance of schools having the best resources available.
On another personal level, I havent ran a half marathon since 2014 a whole 10 years ago, so I thought why not celebrate that anniversary by putting my self through 21 and a bit kms of hell in the cambodian heat. That has to be worth a few £££s of your money!
