In March 2018 my wifes grandparents were burgled, by three men claiming to be from the water board, who said they needed to access their home to turn off their water. As they had recently been having problems with their water supply, they just accepted that these men in reflective jackets were there to help them. Instead they stole money and made my lovely grandparents-in-law fear for their safety in their own home. You couldn’t meet two lovelier people than my wife's Nan and Grandad, they have raised three children; have helped with their grandchildren and now their great-grandchildren. They had saved money to pay for pay for their funeral costs so the burden wouldn’t be on their family when the time came. They have both worked so hard and this whole incident is totally heartbreaking.
