Story
My Wife Stephanie was diagnosed on 31/1/2020 with non hodgkins lymphoma. She finished her chemotherapy on the 26/6/2020 and on the 22/7/2020 we got the devastating news it hadn’t worked. In 1985 Steph had a kidney transplant and it will be 35 this october, unfortunately the anti rejection drugs have left no immune system and the TCells in the blood are not able to assist the chemotherapy. This leaves us with needing a t-cell infusion which is not on the NHS. A charity in Scotland makes these infusions from blood donated and the cost to prepare this is £15,000. For them to operate and help people like my wife this is what is needed to replace the the one we are asking for. If we are lucky and get this and any extra we will donate to the charity so hopefully can help another post transplant patients who find themselves in this devastating position. Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you wish to learn more about the treatment it is called Tabelecleucel.
