I'm raising £750 to Support British veterans

Organised by Matthew Crawford Russell

Story

growing up in Stirling i always told the story of the argyll and Sutherland highlanders through the museum and the local veterans. i also seen on the news, the papers and the streets how veterans are simply cast aside and often put to the lowest rung on the ladder.

That’s why this year I’m doing my “40 Mile kit hike” from Stirling castle to Edinburgh castle. It’s my third year doing the hike but this time I want to do it for a good cause. As such I’ll be wearing full ww2 Argylls uniform and taking only equipment they would have had available to them in 1943.

I will be undertaking this hike with some friends and fellow Reenactor’s and we shall be doing this in aid of “who dares cares” a veterans mental health as well as our local regimental association and museum to help protect the legacy of our veterans for years to come

We be ever so grateful if you were able to support us on our way

Many thanks
