£2,494raised of £2,000 target by 94 supporters

Weʼre raising £2,000 to fund a defibrillator and plaque at South Reading Community Centre in memory of Matthew Farrall, a true Whitley lad

Reading, UK

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Matthew Farrall, a Whitley boy to the core, died suddenly on 20 April. He had many talents, including writing for the Whitley Pump, local historical knowledge and an infectious enthusiasm for life.

It feels fitting that a legacy is left in the heart of the community for the heart of the community.
