I had hoped to do something spectacular to commemorate my 50th birthday such as running over Ben Nevis or cycling the Alps. Instead I will be dancing in front of 1000 people in the Whitla Hall on 19th November (tickets still available) in "Strictly Park Lodge".Those who know me will understand just how far this is outside my comfort zone as grace and agility are not my strengths.
Park Lodge Primary School has served the community in North Belfast for over 50 years. It has educated me and my four children. We aim to raise funds to replace much needed resources, to provide a literacy programme and enhance the assistance given to those children with special needs.
We are also raising money for NI Children's Hospice.The Hospice provided wonderful care to my much missed sister Lucy and needs our support to continue to provide that level of care.
