Story

I’m taking part in this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 26th April and it will be my first ever marathon! 🏃‍♀️

I’m hoping to raise £2,200 for a very worthy local charity, Friends of Treorchy Park.

This charity is entirely volunteer-run and in 2018 they successfully reopened Treorchy’s paddling pool, thanks to their hard work and community fundraising. Opening the pool each summer now costs almost £15,000, so every penny raised really does matter.

Friends of Treorchy Park would love to improve the paddling pool by adding water jets and fountains, as well as installing more benches around the park for families to enjoy.

Treorchy is a fantastic community and this charity does wonderful work supporting local families and creating great facilities for children.

Any donation, big or small, would make a real difference and help me reach my fundraising goal.

Thank you for your support!
