In August 2017 I will be going to Lepushe located in the Albanian Alps, international volunteering for my University - Leeds Beckett. My role in our project team will be focused upon sports coaching & teaching English language in local schools. Whilst the project itself also involves promoting tourism in the region. It has been my ambition to take the next step in volunteering. I love coaching football & cricket and I would like to take these skills abroad to experience a different culture in an exciting initiative such as this!
I am doing an Abseil down a 10 storey building at Leeds Beckett on Saturday the 1st of April 2017. Any contributions/money raised from me doing this, will go towards the Balkans Peace Park Project which my trip works alongside. The organisation aims to protect the environment, promote employment, whilst being a symbol of peace in Albania, Montengero & Kovoso.
