St Thomas of Canterbury School holds a special place in my heart: I was a pupil here when I was little and loved my time here, and now I am serving the school as Deputy Headteacher. Break times are one of those things where I don't have many specific memories but I do remember the feeling of fun. I have seen lots of changes over the years but that delight of children in the yard is still there every day.

The climbing equipment on the yard is fantastic and loved by all the children but the area around it is badly in need of work. To make it accessible for all seasons, we are hoping to install astro turf, and to raise much-needed funds, I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 26th March. Please give whatever you can to help keep this area loved and used by this generation and the next.
