Story
Hi everyone, on Mayday Bank Holiday I was part of a relay team (4 teams of 5 from Warren Children's Centre) which took part in the Belfast City Marathon.
I didn't ask for sponsorship up front as I was not confident that I could complete my side of the deal (6.2 miles is really long!!) However, I completed (ran but mostly walked) the first part of the relay in 91 minutes (just under 15 mins per mile for the Olympic "afleet" that I am!)
I am asking for a small contribution if you can - even just one of those shiny new one-pound coins would make a difference!
I am using crowdfunding for this as any money I can raise will be divided between South Eastern Trust's chosen charity and to the ongoing battle against MND.
I have set a target of £50 but I'm sure both charities would be grateful for so much more.
Many thanks in anticipation!
