I've raised £4000 to We need to raise £4,000, as soon as possible, to enable our son Matt, to have life changing surgery on his right eye, to prevent blindness.

MATT ..... is a wonderful young 27 year old man, who is married , with 3 young children and works full time as a Carpenter in Haverfordwest, and has done since he was 16yrs.
As a child Matt developed Perthes, a rare hip disorder, where he had surgery, and was left with a leg shorthening, this in turn made him develop Scoliosis and Kyphosis, as well as needing further surgery on his hip as the muscle that holds it in place has torn.
With all that he has been through he has the biggest heart and the biggest SMILE!!.
On trying to better his familys life, by applying for the retain Fire Service, and during his medicals, where he thought he would fail due to his back, they found he had a serious eye condition.
This was Oct 17, and within 6 months , seeing his eye surgeon last week, has been told he has NO TIME!!, his right eye needs surgery NOW!!.
If the levels drop to 4 his eye will become inoperable and inevitably Matt will loose his eyesight, and to make things worse he has it in his left eye to.
Hywel Dda Nhs trust do not fund the operation Matt needs to keep his eyesight.
Each eye is £4000.
But currently his right eye is the more urgent.
He has said , he can live with his bad back, his hip problems, his daily pain, but his eyes are the window to the world!!, so please help him to keep his, as he has A LIFE TIME AHEAD TO SEE!!!, a job to keep that he loves and a family to support and memories to make , that he wants to LOOK back on in years to come.
To those who donate, no matter how large or small, THANKYOU!!!!!.
As a family we will be forever grateful.
We cannot give in without a fight .
