Story

On Saturday 4th December Matthew Jackson "JACKO" passed away unexpectedly. We are all still struggling to get our heads around what has happened and we are still searching for answers...

He left behind his Mum Barbara, Wife Melissa , three lovely Daughters in Chloe, Emily and Mollie , three Sons Connor, Elijah and Ellis and three Grandchildren Jaye, Aria and Darcy. Oh and lets not forget his beloved Chelsea FC.

Anyone who had the privilege of meeting or knowing Matt im sure would agree he spoke his mind, whether you liked the answer or not, you would get a genuine and honest response.

I for one can, and will, say what a genuine hard working man and friend Matt was, forever putting others before himself. If he wasn't spending quality time with his family, working ,coaching, or up at Stamford Bridge watching Chelsea FC, he was probably in his man cave watching chelsea FC.

Matt was involved in a huge football community in Thanet. Playing for a number of different sides over the years. For 90 minutes you get to turn off from the outside world and focus on your passion, and my god football was his passion. In recent years Matt ended up between the sticks. I'm sure everybody who had the pleasure of playing with or against him would agree he was a tremendous footballer and keeper.

Matt loved and got huge satisfaction from coaching various teams and was currently involved with Ramsgate U15's , passing on his knowledge, watching and witnessing their progression gave Matt great satisfaction.

Matt has left a huge hole in all of our hearts and will never ever be forgotten. He will live on in all of his children because of the awesome character he was.

It would be hugely appreciated if we could help ease the financial implication for Melissa and the family that losing a loved one brings.

Let's do Jacko's memory proud. We're all going to miss you bud.

RIP Jacko
