Matty Shaw, was discovered by police suffering from stab wounds in Rochdale, on Wednesday night 9th May 2018. Matty, aged just 26, was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. Our thanks go to the paramedics and other medical staff who did their utmost to save him.

Matty tried to intervene in a fight in the area, when he was fatally stabbed. Anybody who knew Matty would know that trying to help others where he could, was one of his attributes.

Matty gave his life, helping others. His family are now trying to raise funds to finance a modest funeral. Anything you can give towards the cost, will be gratefully accepted.

His father, Lee Bell and aunty, Lisa Byron are jointly arranging the funeral and will confirm that all donations will be given directly to them.
